Our Director
Executive Director Dianne Morgan Baham has been
employed at STARC for more than 30 years. A 1970 graduate
of SLU, Dianne has a degree in Social Work. Dianne
is a life-long resident of St. Tammany Parish and is married to the Rev. Jim
Baham, Associate Pastor and Minister of Music at First Baptist Church in Slidell.
She and Jim have one son, Mark, who also works for STARC as the Commercial
Business Division Administrator. Dianne teaches Sunday
School, sings in the church choir
and serves as chairman of the “Give a Cup of Water” Benevolence Committee
at her church. She actively participates in the community as a Board member for
the St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce, the Children’s Wish Endowment
for terminally ill children, the Slidell Art League, Southeastern Louisiana
University, CARSA, the Region IX Health Care Consortium and the St. Tammany
Commission on
Families. She is the current president for the Louisiana Alliance of Independent
Providers, a member of the United Way Council of Executives and of the St.
Tammany Parish Homebuilders, and also serves as chairman of the Ribbon Cutting
Committee
for both the Slidell and West St. Tammany Chambers of Commerce.
Dianne sees her daily work as a ministry in the community.
