Letter from the Director...

STARC first began serving individuals with disABILITIES in St. Tammany Parish in 1972. Since that time STARC has begun offering limited services in four surrounding parishes: Tangipahoa, Washington, St. Helena and Livingston. When STARC first started we served 3 children. Today STARC is serving nearly 1,400 individuals and their families at any given time. STARC is determined to provide a lifetime of critical quality services despite the ongoing budget cuts we have received over the years.
