JOB DUTIES SUMMARY: Responsible for supervising groups of clients to which assigned: adult day habilitation (Jacob’s Ladder), pre-vocational/vocational skills training , work/training, activity room, work in-center (enclaves), and/or mobile work crews. Ensures safety and well-being of clients. Responsible for ensuring safety and efficient operation of equipment and the classroom/activity room/training and/or work area used for providing services to clients. Responsible for supervising other staff and volunteers working in assigned areas. Develops, coordinates, and assists in implementation of daily activities schedule on a weekly basis for clients participating in assigned work areas. Responsible for assisting Adult Services Coordinator/QIDP in performing QIDP duties and may, in the absence of Adult Services Coordinator/QIDP, be required to serve as QIDP on-duty at assigned facility. Serves as resource to other direct care employees and may be instructed by Program Coordinator to provide “on-the-job” training to other direct care employees specific to understanding goals and objectives identified in client’s individual service plans. May be required to transport clients. May be required to work in any STARC-operated facility.
WORK SCHEDULE: Follows 240 –day Operational Calendar Mondays – Fridays 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
Responsible for assuring integration of the various aspects of the resident’s program on 24/7 basis. Coordinates, supervises, and monitors implementation of each resident’s individual service plans. Responsible for recommending modification to resident’s individual service plan to accommodate progress. Accompanies residents to medical, dental, psychiatric, and other related appointments. May be required to transport residents. May be required to work in any STARC-operated facility. Serves as designee in Residential Services Administrator’s absence. Serves as backup in Residential Services Facilitator’s absence. May serve as backup to direct support staff in emergencies and as needed due to absence of scheduled direct support staff.
