Position: CLS II (Community Living Specialist)
Job Duties Summary: Responsible for carrying out daily training programs for persons with developmental disabilities. Maintains the community home in good condition. Ensures the safety and well-being of community home residents, equipment and facility. Adheres to the policies and standards for community home residents as established by STARC and other regulatory agencies. May be required to transport clients. Valid driver’s license and good driving record are required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must successfully complete CMA certification training and receive CMA certificate within one year of date of hire. Workers are required to rotate between the homes: 2 homes are in Slidell; 1 is in Mandeville and 1 is in Covington.

Hours: Shift work as assigned: Program operates 24 hours per day/365 days per year. Note: Staff schedules are set in a 4-week rotation. SIGNING BONUS AVAILABLE!!
