Department/Program:  Residential Services – Slidell, Mandeville, Covington


Job Duties Summary:

Responsible for ensuring financial accountability of client and petty cash funds, adherence to established budget, supervision of direct care staff, on-site staff training, assurance of active treatment for residents and maintenance of assigned home.  Responsible for adherence to Policy and Procedures established by STARC and other regulatory agencies to ensure continued licensure of the home.  Responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of clients served.  Responsible for performing all essential functions of a CLS/CMA when assigned to shifts in the community home.  May be required to transport clients.  High school diploma or equivalent with one(1) or more years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities required. CMA certification required. Related supervisory level work experience preferred.  Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Hours:  Residential Services homes operate 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. 40 hour per week work schedule set by Residential Services Administrator and/or Residential Services Facilitator consisting of (3 shifts in residential community homes and 2 days per week during routine operational hours)
