Department/Program:  Residential Services – Slidell, Mandeville, Covington


Job Duties Summary:

Serves as Lead staff for residential community home to which assigned. Responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of community home residents. Responsible for performing all essential functions of a CLS/CMA I when assigned to shifts in the community home. Responsible for ensuring financial accountability of client and petty cash funds, adherence to established budget, supervision of direct care staff (CLS, CLS/CMA I), on-site staff training, assurance of active treatment for residents and maintenance of assigned home. Responsible for adherence to Policy and Procedures established by STARC and other regulatory agencies to ensure continued licensure of the home. High school diploma or equivalent with two (2) or more years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual, developmental, and/or other disabilities in residential community home setting. Program operates 24 hrs/day, 365 day/yr. Must be available for “on-call” duties as needed (nights, weekends, holidays, emergency situations, staff shortages, etc.)
